On nine weekends, MIL guests enjoyed the La Bella Vendemmia 2019

Villa Michelon accounted for a 78% occupancy during the vintage in the Vale dos Vinhedos

A party filled with joy, hospitality typical of the first Italian immigrants of the region and, of course, much wine. La Bella Vendemmia, a weekly celebration held over the last three years at the Villa Michelon during the grape harvest season in the Valley of the Vineyards, is a public success. In 2019, the party, which ran from January 11 to March 10, gathered around 1,000 "vindimeiros" only on weekends - and a total of 7500 guests during the most delightful months of the wine tourism route.

Unsurprisingly, the Villa Michelon boasts excellent occupations. The Tourist Complex, known for having living spaces for family tourism and for valuing the culture of the Vale dos Vinhedos, maintains in its staff of 55 employees the premise of excellence in service, a fact proven by guest testimonials. "Elaine Michelon is an extremely friendly person who welcomes us so well that we return, her staff is attentive and helpful, always ready to meet in a super professional way," points out Nice Hoppen, who stayed in February.

It is an absolute truth that the vintage season moves the Valley of the Vineyards, losing in number of visitors only for the winter. Since it was reformulated, however, La Bella Vendemmia of Villa Michelon is responsible for a considerable percentage of the consumption of grapes and wines in the region. In the nine editions of 2019, 2,500 kg of grapes were harvested in Parreiral Modelo, in addition to 8 thousand kg for service of reception and breakfast. During the party, there were 288 liters of white and red wine, plus 153 liters of grape juice - all with a differential: from January 25, when the Official Vineyard Opening of Vale dos Vinhedos took place, the drink is served piped in a tribute to the National Wine Festival.

With 57 apartments in four categories, the Villa Michelon reinforces, on the eve of its 18th anniversary, the reputation of being a reference destination for those who wish to enjoy family leisure and in the midst of the Vinhedos Valley culture. "It is impossible to speak these numbers without being moved. The harvest is a celebration that unites our community of the Valley of Vineyards with tourists from all over Brazil and also the world. They are people who come to know our history and the trajectory that transformed this district into one of the most sought after enotouristic itineraries in Brazil ", celebrates the director general Elaine Michelon.

With each edition, the team of Villa Michelon seeks to insert novelties in La Bella Vendemmia. "We started with straw hats, then presented the guests with pen drives with the photos and by 2019 we added aprons and caps so that the memories last for the rest of the year with each one staying here. We observe the behavior of the guest to shape a party that matches their expectations, and this strategy has worked. Certainly in 2020 the programming will have news ", points out Leandro Giordani, operational manager of Villa Michelon.
The Official Opening of the Vineyard Winery is scheduled for January 24, 2020.
